Introduction to Marx's Capital

Marx's Capital has stood the test of time as a penetrating, revolutionary analysis and critique of capitalism. This session will present a general overview of Volume 1, with some focus on key concepts such as value, exploitation, money, and accumulation. The goal is to convince attendees that they can and should read the text themselves.

He's currently a graduate student at Stanford, where he was co-facilitator of Students for Justice in Palestine and a participant in Black Lives Matter demonstrations, including the shutdown of the San Mateo bridge for Reclaim MLK Day. He has previously organized at San Francisco State University and at UC Berkeley.
